A ministry built on the conviction that faithful living is practical living.
The church has always needed people who can do two things at once: study the Word and work with their hands. For most of Christian history, pastors were also farmers, tradesmen, and builders. Somewhere along the way, we separated "spiritual life" from "practical life" as if they were two different things.
They're not.
Harvest & Hearth Ministries exists to reconnect them. We teach self-sufficiency, stewardship, and practical skills — all grounded in Scripture and Christ-centered discipleship. We believe that a man who can feed his family, fix what's broken, lead in his home, and open the Bible for his children is exactly the kind of man the church and the world need more of.
This ministry started small, and it still is small. We operate alongside a local Baptist church in Saraland, Alabama, and everything we do is built around real life — not programs designed in an office somewhere.
I'm a bivocational pastor serving a small Baptist church in Saraland, Alabama. I hold a Bachelor's in Business Administration and I'm currently completing a Master of Divinity.
By trade, I'm a mechanic. By calling, I'm a pastor and teacher. By choice, I'm also a blacksmith, a hunter, a fisherman, a gardener, and a rabbit raiser.
I started Harvest & Hearth because I saw a gap. Men in the church were hungry for something more than a Sunday sermon and a Wednesday night potluck. They wanted to know how to lead, how to provide, how to build something real. And families were looking for practical help — not just spiritual encouragement, but actual skills for living well.
So I started teaching what I know. Food preservation. Gardening. Basic mechanics. Stewardship. Household leadership. Men's discipleship. And I grounded all of it in the same thing that grounds my life: the Word of God.
This isn't a polished operation. It's a ministry built by a working man for working people. And it's growing.
Hands-on classes in gardening, food preservation, basic mechanics, home improvement, blacksmithing, and more — all taught through a biblical lens of stewardship and provision.
Bible studies, discussion guides, and group resources for men who want to grow in faith and practical leadership.
We help small churches build practical programs — men's ministry, stewardship teaching, and community outreach through skill-sharing.
Whether you want to attend a class, bring a workshop to your church, download a resource, or support the mission — we'd love to hear from you.
